More information on Birth of a Royal Library Maria Gazdag, the creator of the award winning interior design work Birth of a Royal Library says “Titled: The Corvina Library and the Buda Workshop, the exhibition was organized in the National Szechenyi Library, Budapest. At the heart of the space, in 3 rooms, 67 stunning books were on display from the Bibliotheca Corvina, established by King Mathias in the 15th century. Upon arrival a giant vellum - the material of medieval manuscripts – was placed with the general introduction. A similar interim space, a reading area, a so-called Library was created on the way out of the exhibition rooms.
