Hamed Arab Choobdar, the lead designer of the winning work Persian Peacock explains “Persian peacock ring inspired by the peacock. In Persian mythology, the peacock is a symbol of paradise, regality, nobility and beauty. Emerald and Sapphire present peacock's feathers in green and blue. Different software packages used for designing and 3D-modelling the ring. Then, it 3D-printed in wax and direct cast in three parts. Finally, gemstones set on the ring by using Micro-setting technique.
