Duane Lye Dun Wei, the lead designer of the winning work Eluminance explains “During police and civil defense operations, clear and concise instructions are essential to the success of the operation and safety of both operators and civilians. In such operations tension can escalate very quickly and can occur during anywhere and anytime. Eluminance is a highly versatile carbon fiber module that houses a retractable and environment illuminated barrier tape. The design provides heightened visibility and ability to animate directions on the barrier tape.
