Somayeh Kiara Kianpour, the lead designer of the winning jewelry design work Dolatabad Garden explains “Hashti' ceiling (main entrance section) from the interior section of the garden has fantastic Karbandi which designed and made by master architect Ali Akbar Akhundi. Karbandi created by Iranian architects when covering a polygon plan by dome was desired. This art, which has rich variety of designs and historic background in Iranian architecture and decoration, is a glorious image of applied geometry and has been used as design inspiration.
