Wondo Jeong, the lead designer of the winning work FlipMe explains “FlipMe is an IoT companion that aims to augment peer to peer interaction for active online learning. FlipMe physicalizes learning activities of paired peers. A flipping top provides real time feedback through a reading a book like motion triggered by learning activities such as viewing video contents. Group study activities are further expressed through a rolling ball feedback.
