A' International Design Award and Competition is pleased to announce that the work Lighting in the Waves by Chi Yuan Lee, Chun We Chung, Pin Chun Hsiung and Yu Chen Liu has been honored with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design Category selected as the winner by the transnational jury members of the A' Design Awards & Competitions within a great number of nominated projects.

Regarding Lighting in the Waves

Hao Han Chang, the lead designer of the winning project Lighting in the Waves explains “The wave-shaped ceiling above the isle integrates the structural beams while following the natural light with the undulating curves. The white color further reduces the visual weight of the thirteen-meter high ceiling. The curves are interrupted by oblique angles following to the position of the beams. The five openings of the light fixtures direct the sightline at different aspects.
