Yun Lu, the lead designer of the winning project Garden Hotpot explains “The project site is known for its superior ecology, where is very close to nature and far away from the noise. Therefore MUDA-Architects try to construct a building, in harmony with the surrounding natural world, combining people with nature. The construction forms along the lake and naturally surrounds the lotus pond, look like the steams and smokes from the boiling pots curling between the pillars and trees.
