Akitoshi Imafuku, the designer of the award winning project The Public Stand Roppongi says “This is a standing bar where young people come for encounters. The underground location makes you feel like you are going into secret club, and the colored lighting throughout the space pumps up your heartbeat more with the graffiti. As the purpose of the bar is to connect people, we tried to design organic, circular shapes.
