Bean Buro, the creative mind behind the winning design Terrace Chalet explains “The main concept for the apartment features a wooden box at the terrace to connect inside and outside. The raised platform is also considered as a seating space with cushions for guests as part of the lounge sofa set. Passersby from the street may be able to look up and see the ceiling of the wooden box, but not able to see the activities inside.
