Ninho Design Studio, the creative mind behind the winning furniture design Hug explains “Hug is intended for a reclined sitting posture that anatomically hugs its users. It was inspired by the act of hugging and the feeling of being welcome and safe. As an alternative to the fast and stressful daily life, hug offers a relaxation experience. Its extremely thin and resistant steel plate shell maximizes internal space and minimizes the use of materials. Its cushion is filled with foam and feathers, which favors comfort, and its base is made from wood, which emphasizes the design of the upholstered body.
