Massimo Rosati, the lead designer of the winning project Lady Cage explains “Lady Cage is a versatile lamp. You can hang it on a hook, place it on a top or on a shelf, take it with you. Easy to move, thanks to its handle, easy to place where you want it and where you need light. The idea of Lady Cage comes from the traditional cage lamp used by miners, mechanics and hand workers. Its metal cage was useful to avoid bulb shocks. Lady Cage wears a nice and gentle cage, that is shaped like the most classical fabric shade.
