Pejman Tayebi, the creative mind behind the winning design An Apartment based on rural architecture explains “The client's demands were to use several different typologies of residential units. One of the most important indicators in the design was a special consideration of green spaces and the preservation of old trees. One of the factors encouraging residents to use balconies is the fact they're not overlooked by the neighboring buildings. In this project, a sufficient level of privacy was achieved with the help by the use of trees as shields, creating a pattern and glazed wall.
