Geila Daughtrey, the lead designer of the winning project Monti explains “The challenge was to pay homage to both Singapore’s glimmering skyline and Italy’s unmistakable charm in one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, The Fullerton Pavilion, with its waterside circular architecture, floor to ceiling windows and exposed architectural elements. The interiors of Monti were inspired by The Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan (which played host to Luca Guadagnino's 2009 movie 'I am Love').
