Olga Podolskaya, the lead designer of the winning design Smile explains “The 1800 mm long frame of the lamp’s arc is made of metal and plastic, which makes it possible to mount it on the ceiling or on the wall (lay-on mounted). Soft diffused light of two LEDs, which are in the cover plates of the mounts, light the arc, creating the same "smile" design.
