James Gifford, the creative mind behind the winning consumer electronics design work Fender Acoustic SFX explains “The use of bent plywood with a finish compliments an acoustic guitar as well as provides a relation to the instrument. A soft touch covered handle spans the width of the product and provides an ergonomic feel and experience for transportation. The finished bent plywood shell also lends itself to future finish stains that work well with the fabric grill cloth and stitched logo.
