Details of Squama Jun Rekimoto, the lead designer of the winning building components design Squama explains “Squama is an interactive and computer-controlled window or wall that can independently control the transparency of its small square cells. When Squama is used as a window, it dynamically controls the visibility through its surface and simultaneously satisfies the needs for openness and privacy.
