More on THE MOOD Lyndhurst THEO TEXTURE, the lead designer of the winning design THE MOOD Lyndhurst explains “This project is to demolish the existing 6-storey walk-up buildings on a small urban commercial site of just under than 2000SF, and to redevelop it into what is known as THE MOOD Lyndhurst, a 23-storey LEED silver-certified boutique hotel. The exterior of the building is cladded with white organic cellular shapes embedded with seven “flower” features, just like a Chinese “Cheongsam” dress with large floral patterns draped over the building.
