Colin Westeinde, the creator of the award winning lighting design Parametric Pendant says “The Parametric Pendant was created as an exploration of hand and machine processes. It combines strong aspects of both approaches which often have opposing characteristics in to an efficient, but infinity variable system of making. Using a parametric grasshopper script cut plans for for a copper shell are quickly drawn as unique iterations of a general structure and then have a smoke grey glass bubble blown in to them.
