Yan Soares, the lead designer of the winning design Ebro explains “The Ebro shelf was designed to honor the cubism, an avant-garde art movement that revolutionized the Europe. By the abstraction of the straight lines of the painting "Horta de Ebro - Homes On the Hill" by Picasso, was developed a shelf whose configuration tries to be faithful with the proportions and colors used by the artist. The result is a unique product with 38 hollow blocks that fit according to the composition of cubes in the painting.
