Tarek Elkassouf, the creator of the award winning project Twisted Diamond says “Twisted Diamond is part of The Edge – Beirut Revisited Collection, an evolution of The Edge – Beirut Collection, which takes a cue from the city of Beirut – a city always on the edge of instability, chaos, creativity and adaptability. The versatile geometric form allows for each individual lamp to be stacked, rotated, flipped or form part of a repeating pattern that is inspired by Middle Eastern architecture. The motif is a contemporary take on the moucharabiah lamp of the traditional Middle Eastern souk.
