Avni Sejpal - Studio Avni, the creative mind behind the winning project Upcycled Series explains “The up cycled and sustainable Seating Collection is inspired from the discarded heirloom textile of Indian women. It is made converting old and discarded silk Sarees – bright and vivid draped garment worn by Indian women all across India, into sculptural seating options pairing it with locally found Indian varieties of wood.
