Yasumichi Morita, the designer of the award winning work Randen Arashiyama Station says “Randen Arashiyama Station is located in central of Arashiyama and in opposite of Tenryuji-temple. The elegant lighting forest has been created in the platform with approx. 600 poles rapped with Kyoto Yuzen kimono fabrics.
