A' Design Award and Competition is happy to share that the work Grill by Yu-Ngok Lo became a laureate of the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design Category selected as a winner by the international jurors of the A' Design Awards & Competitions among thousands of submitted projects.

About Grill

Yu-Ngok Lo, the designer of the award winning project Grill says “The project turned an existing rundown motorcycle repair shop located in the northern part of Macau into a brand new artisan Barbeque Bistro. The biggest challenge of the project is to satisfy the client’s aggressive programmatic need in such a small space with a very tight budge. The design progress began with figuring a way to fit 40 seats in the 44 m2 dining area. A total construction budget of HK$320,000 was set at the beginning of the project. Our solution was to maintain the industrial aspect of the space by minimally finished the walls and ceiling with a “raw and unfinished” texture.” Learn more at at: https://competition.adesignaward.com/design.php?ID=30732
