Tay Meng Kiat Nicholas, the creator of the award winning work 360° Water Barrier says “When flash floods or high tide arrives, the road barrier will move its metal shutter to the other road barrier, creating a line of defence across the flood-prone areas. During low tide periods or mega events, the barrier can be lowered to match the street level for easier crossing.
