Federico Fraternale, Andrea Ghiringhelli, Marco Grimandi, the creative mind behind the winning medical product design CureCheck explains “CureCheck is a handy and easy-to-use glycemia indicator, which contains all the necessary to check and cure the user.Thanks to its design, it's absolutely pocket-sized and far from the shape of a medical device. The user puts his fingertip on the dedicated hole, after a needle automatically stings the finger; the device analyze the blood and the user can read the result on the display. Subsequently the user can pull out the syringe in order to inject the right insulin dose.
