Samira Adami Dadizadeh, the lead designer of the winning project Morphknock explains “Morphknock presents a reinterpretation of the classic door knocker in a modular, wearable format. Referencing traditional architectural forms, the piece incorporates arch shaped structure and a central bar for balance. Rotating stones such as malachite, lapis lazuli, and black onyx reflect surface qualities found in aged materials.
