About Serena

Mingxi Li, the lead designer of the winning home appliance design work Serena explains “Inspired by optical illusions and the art of natural gravity, the visual effect of water droplets flowing backwards breaks the conventional perception. Based on the principle of visual persistence, LED lights and precise control are used to achieve the illusion of anti-gravity, combining humidification with artistic beauty. The challenge was to synchronize the flow of water and the lighting effects to ensure the perfect combination of function and vision.
