Icy Design Oy, the lead designer of the winning project Gothic Delicacy explains “This design is a bold mix of scary and fancy, challenging the usual idea of macarons. It's meant to make you curious and a little uneasy. Instead of the usual pretty colors, it has black shells, almond teeth, and bronze peaks that look like a wild creature.
