A' Design Award and Competition is happy to share that the work Taki by Masaki Takahashi became a laureate of the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design Category selected as a winner by the international jurors of the A' Design Awards & Competitions among thousands of submitted projects.
Concerning Taki
Masaki Takahashi, the designer of the award winning project Taki says “Taki is a landscape project for a site in Niseko, Japan. We wanted to create an ideal space while respecting the existing buildings and the natural environment. A staircase made of the same concrete slab as the exterior walls was designed to bring a sense of unity between the building and the garden. The artisanal masonry waterfall, created using natural spring water, has a strong design impact.
