Alexey Danilin, the lead designer of the winning lighting design Maya explains “The collection is dedicated to the ancient cultures of Mesoamerica. They were famous for their jewelry art. In some Mesoamerican cultures, ornaments had ritual and religious significance. In addition, they often had a similar silhouette in the form of an inverted crescent moon. Therefore, this form formed the basis. The lamps have a characteristic gold color and are framed on both sides by glass with polygonal ornaments. Numerous facets refract the luminous flux and create spectacular glare.
