Shimoyama Shanghai DIY Home Co., Ltd., the lead designer of the winning project Cream explains “The Cream Stool has legs on straight edges of its seat, which look like natural curved extensions of its seat. When reversed, the stool can be used as a toy box, as its legs are just like sides of the box. All the bends at the front and back sides of the stool are curved, to make it look meek and lovely and dramatically reduce the possibility of hurting children when it turns over.
