Lu Zhao, the lead designer of the winning design Meet Spring with Plants explains “According to the purification function of different plants, this work combines the pollution related objects in the city with the image of plants. Based on the pattern of pollutants, 16 groups of plant icons are generated, such as purifying air, and the black tone is given to express the absorption effect of plants on urban pollution.
