Ofri Shapira, the lead designer of the winning work Mashav explains “Mashav is a wearable ventilation system that provides comfortable, breathable protection in hot conditions. It uses the "Chimney Effect" to create air circulation within the garment and includes a solar ventilation system in the hood to enhance airflow to the neck and head. Inspired by the traditional "Galabiya" dress worn by Bedouin society in the desert, Mashav combines traditional clothing with modern design.
