Kevin Hsieh, the lead designer of the winning project Concavity and Convexity explains “In this design, modern materials are brought into the space with classical lines. Galvanized mesh panels are used to design partitions and stairwells, allowing light and shadow to flow through each space, combined light penetrating materials to let the light show the various expressions of the space.
