Pierre Baston, the lead designer of the winning work Qterra Craft explains “Qterra Craft is a travel mug that brews coffee or tea completely by external control. The Craft carries ground coffee or tea leaves and hot water separately, starts and stops brewing on demand, and quickly cools hot beverage for safe drinking without the user's opening the mug. A yellow ring changes color to signal when cooling is done.
