Masato Sekiya, the designer of the award winning work Monopitched Roof says “This design adapts traditional architectural elements into a modern three-generational home, enclosing a central garden and creating an indoor-outdoor space through the use of fully opening glass doors, and giving a dynamic view from the living area, over the garden. The upper floor on the east side is for the second and third generation, and is designed to ensure privacy.
