Alan Aronica, the lead designer of the winning work Junone explains “With its architectural shape, the Junone Lamp is concurrently minimalistic and boldly sculptural, yet suggesting a dynamic sense of directionality. Conceived to explore the contrast arising from the juxtaposition of voluptuous organic shapes with sculptural tensions inspired by the aeronautical and automotive industries.
