Nargiza Usmanova, the lead designer of the winning work Crystal explains “The art installation Crystal is made for the Yonge + St. Clair Fall Art Festival (Toronto, Canada) which is aimed to promote local businesses. The Crystal is an abstract 3d object of 3 meters in height, aimed to demonstrate the process of transformation throughout the crystal lattice. Using triangular shapes, the artist has created a volumetric structural arch resembling a crystal.
