Yuji Okitsu, the designer of the award winning work Lightflakes For StarMicronics says “Yuji Okitsu created an installation with an artwork named "lightflakes" whose concept is the reconstruction of light. By methodically assembling small and thin 53,900 lenses that can be combined with each other and picking up light to make large optical screens, the client's corporate statement "Miniature Technology, Infinite World" was embodied for the entrance of the headquarters of Japanese precision parts company.
