Lin Lin, the creator of the award winning project Sky Reaching says “They developed this concept of the Sky Reaching Pole by researching the acrobats of the Tang Dynasty. Dignitaries from around the world were entertained by the acrobats of the court. The creative team researched and built many motifs of the acrobats before the final design was executed. The sculpture is over four meters high giving the feeling of suspense. The poles and the figures are abstract in nature but contemporary with metallic color.
