Yun Lu, the lead designer of the winning architecture design Wenjiang Shouan explains “To diversify the proposed osmanthus exhibition hall in Minjiang village, MUDA-Architects integrated it with a business conference center, a township training center and related merchandise sales. The design was inspired by Western Sichuan folk dwellings based on the consideration of native elements, and modern aesthetic techniques were introduced as innovation to the irregular-shaped site by stretching a spiral from plane vertically.
