Spring Reflection Renovation Project
Yan De Jiang's Spring Reflection project involves the renovation of a 30-year-old house in Taipei, Taiwan, encompassing 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms, with a focus on creating a timeless, sustainable living space for the family's future. The renovation was completed in December 2022, showcasing innovative design solutions and a commitment to environmental conservation.
The project's unique features include the use of a curved iron piece to harmonize the space, extending cabinet designs to diversify the visual experience, and incorporating the concept of 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) into the design to align with environmental conservation goals.
The renovation project challenges traditional design norms by retaining original brick partitions, covering old tiles with German Egger wooden flooring, and employing a limited color scheme to maintain simplicity while ensuring a unique aesthetic.
