Brembo's Octyma is an eight-piston brake caliper designed to optimize pad pressure distribution, enhancing braking performance. Its taut lines and meticulous attention to detail offer a refined solution for braking needs, while the use of specific colors such as yellow, red, carbon bronze, and black further emphasizes the caliper's aesthetics.

Octyma showcases cutting-edge design, merging mechatronics knowledge, hand sketches, and 3D modeling. Crafted from high-quality cast aluminum, it undergoes a meticulous internal process from research to testing, ensuring durability and exceptional performance in every condition.

Before mass production, static and dynamic bench tests ensure the durability and performance, with extensive road tests optimizing comfort and response in real-life use. The caliper's aesthetic is guaranteed by a strong validation plan of surface treatment, ensuring color stability and great performance in different environmental conditions.

Octyma is a brake caliper coupled with Brembo discs, assembled directly on the front vehicle corner. Its innovative eight-piston cross layout optimizes pad pressure distribution and braking efficiency, guaranteeing the highest vehicle deceleration and enhancing the driving experience.

The project began in 2018, with Brembo completing it in May 2023, coinciding with the official launch of the vehicle on the market. The design research focused on the distinctive styling cues of the customer brand, its market positioning, and the values it intends to communicate to the consumer.

Octyma was awarded the Platinum A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its exceptional and highly innovative design that contributes to societal well-being.
