Great Harmony of Datong: A Unique Pastry Packaging Design
Beijing Jiaotong University's design team introduces "COSMOS DATONG," a local pastry brand inspired by the ancient city of Datong, symbolizing the enduring pursuit of peace. The brand aims to elevate the product's value and propagate Datong's culture through thoughtful design, blending local folk style illustrations and oriental aesthetics.

The high-end food packaging box, "Great Harmony of Datong," consists of three small packaging boxes made of environmentally friendly cardboard and high-quality paper material. The outer packaging box features smooth UV coating and waterproof properties, with hot stamping technology and die-cutting techniques for durability.

The product, marketed in food stores and gift shops in Shanxi, China, is a local pastry gift box with traditional characteristics of Shanxi, suitable for gifting on festivals or festive occasions. The packaging design combines Shanxi style pastries with traditional shadow puppetry style illustrations, presenting a packaging design with folk customs and new Chinese style.

Founded in 1896, Beijing Jiaotong University is renowned for its creative design program, offering majors such as Visual Communication Design and Digital Media Art.
