Satine Fresh Milk, in collaboration with the innovative Pesign team, unveils a limited edition interactive packaging design, inspired by the rich traditions of Chinese New Year. The packaging, shaped like a traditional milk can, features a dragon head surrounded by auspicious clouds and flowers, symbolizing the beauty and good fortune of the New Year. The hollowing process, inspired by traditional window art, adds a festive, delicate, and elegant touch to the design.

What sets this limited edition packaging apart is its incorporation of sustainability and interactivity, going beyond mere graphics. Made from degradable PE plastic, the packaging measures 80mmx80mmx145mm, ensuring a sustainable approach to design. Moreover, after using the product, children aged 4-10 can repurpose the packaging as a "New Year's lucky bag" for collecting red envelopes, a night light for companionship, and a lantern for the Lantern Festival's "Guess the Lantern Riddle" activity, creating emotional memories and reducing waste.

The project, which commenced in October 2023 and concluded in December 2023 in ShenZhen, China, aimed to broaden the innovative dimension of limited edition packaging design by incorporating sustainability and interactivity. Overcoming challenges related to the hollowing process, the design team ensured that the packaging met the requirements of uniform stress distribution, resulting in a unique and functional product.
