Niko Kapa's Stagione armchair, winner of the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, is a transformative chair that captures the essence of change and emotional connection between object and user. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories and the natural landscape, the chair replicates the feeling of comfort by sinking into a leaf pile, employing design as a way of storytelling.

The chair's unique design features fabric cushioning suggestive of leaf formations, providing elastic support and enveloping the user with soft arms, effectively integrating nature as a design tool. The upholstery is attached to the frame with magnets, allowing for personalized modifications, reflecting the passage of time in natural elements. The removable padding is made of textured hemp, offering an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to cotton.

With dimensions of 92 x 60 x 54 cm, the chair's framework construction incorporates organic curving, instilling it with a sculptural quality made of solid canaletta walnut wood. The chair's design forges a deeper link with the changing seasons, replicating the color palette of leaves and allowing for alterations in appearance by removing its upholstery configuration, revealing the evocative wood structure reminiscent of tree branches.
