George's Restaurant: A Fusion of Art and Modern European Cuisine
Monique Lee's George's restaurant, located in Hotel Éclat Beijing, is a captivating blend of modern European cuisine and luxurious art, inspired by the mission of sustainability and contemporary living at Parkview Green. With a floor area of 210 square meters, the design concept aims to push the boundaries of science and imagination, offering guests a unique dining experience.

George's Restaurant stands out with its incorporation of art gallery elements, creating a nostalgic yet modern ambiance that embodies the spirit of contemporary art. The interior decorations and art pieces rival those found in art exhibitions, while the iconic bright red color symbolizes vitality and passion, adding a visual stimulant to the romantic atmosphere.

The project, which commenced in September 2022 and concluded in August 2023, was executed in Beijing, China. The design team, led by Monique Lee, overcame technical challenges, such as the treatment of natural white stone to withstand frequent contact with hot dishes and kitchen tools, ensuring the durability and aesthetic appeal of the space.

Monique Lee, the Interior Design Director of Mas Studio Ltd., has received recognition for her designs, including the Iron A' Design Award in 2024 for George's Restaurant. Her passion for art and spatial comfort is evident in her work, making her designs a harmonious blend of inspiration and functionality.
