Modulo: A Game-Changing Luminaire
Recessed lights have evolved beyond mere functionality to become striking decorative elements. Modulo, designed by Mohammad Mostafa Sharifianmehr, redefines the concept of recessed lighting by integrating adaptable modules that serve as focal points, sparking a sense of well-being and aesthetic delight.
Modulo's three unique modules - Outside, Inside, and Lamp - offer a myriad of design options, from diverse forms and colors to adjustable setups and various cap colors. This modular system presents architects and designers with unmatched flexibility, allowing them to tailor the lighting to suit any architectural design seamlessly.
The base material, aluminum, ensures safe and sustainable luminaires, with anodizing adding unique finishes to the metal. The design's realization technology prioritizes heat sinking for LEDs, resulting in efficient heat dissipation and design excellence.
The project, which commenced in April 2021 in Tehran, was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding creativity and technical prowess.
