Sky Jade: A Low-Carbon Architectural Marvel Integrating Nature and Technology

Sky Jade, an architectural development project located in Taichung City, Taiwan, is a groundbreaking endeavor by Golden Jade that challenges traditional architectural frameworks through digital parametric technology, aiming to achieve a rational composition of space, materials, and structure while harmonizing with the natural environment.

Golden Jade's Sky Jade: Redefining Architectural Design
Sky Jade, a 24-story residential building, stands as a testament to Golden Jade's innovative approach to architectural design. The project prioritizes green spaces and allocates more areas for public use within the limited site, preserving a harmonious relationship with the surrounding environment. The 360-degree curtain glass design, complemented by a 7-degree glass inclination, presents a faceted appearance reminiscent of gemstone cuts, creating a unique architectural expression and promoting energy efficiency through four-sided natural lighting.

The exterior of the building embraces a dynamic concept of blossoming, featuring a green cascading waterfall motif that transforms with the interplay of light and shadow, symbolizing an atmosphere of open-mindedness and embracing nature. The integration of a sky garden every three floors fosters a serene gathering space for residents and birds, promoting community relationships and perpetual natural vitality.

Through digital architectural design, the project aligns glass curtain angles with local sunlight conditions, leveraging digital analysis to optimize landscape orientations. Additionally, the incorporation of smart building management systems, such as rainwater harvesting and reuse, energy-saving plans, and safety/health management measures, underscores the project's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Golden Jade's Sky Jade project commenced in April 2023 and is anticipated to be completed by October 2029, representing a significant milestone in the evolution of architectural design and sustainable living.
