FAQ Entry #446

#446: Please advice if both built (realised) and conceptual projects would be judged within the same design award sub-category or category.

Yes, both realised as well as conceptual entries would be judged in the same design award sub-category or category, we especially do not separate built or unbuilt work into separate categories.

The following questions could be related:

• #30: I've designed a unique artifact for a project. It has no relation to any brand, it has no logotype or trademark. May I join with this design or should I make some new branding for the artifact?
• #206: Do the renderings or concept design submissions have to be produced or made in to finished products at a later stage of the competition?
• #324: What projects are eligible for the architecture categories: completed and conceptual, or just completed?
• #368: If someone's submitted design gets selected in the A' Design Award then he/she has to make that design in Actual form immediately? If yes, how much time is provided for that ?
• #405: What shall I design for the concept design entry? I did not design anything yet but I want to take part.
• #406: A product, to be submitted, needs to be produced by a company or not? For example can I submit a table only by a render image? Or submitting a prototype photo?
• #408: Is there a specific requirement for when the submitted project was completed? (How recently completed can a project be? Also, how old can a project be to qualify?)
